Update: April 2010: Sheila has just purchased a Janome sewing machine with us, taken some lessons about how to use it and is ready to launch into another gown for her daughter's wedding! She is using beautiful pleated fushia silk and we know it will be just perfect!

We have had some lovely exotic gowns come to us for fine alterations. We can give you a great fit especially for petite clients who have such limited selections to choose from. So when you are shopping think of how we can tailor the gown to fit just right and make it look like it was custom made "just for you". It is our pleasure to enhance your beauty.

Our clients are often surprised how we can accomplish a great fit that they never thought would be possible. We don't rush you through the fitting process. We take your figure aspects into consideration and with your input we determine the desired steps to accomplish the best overall apprearance.

Our prices may be higher than a dry cleaner because we don't take shortcuts. We use hand work when appropriate, recheck at subsequent fittings, and give you and your garments lots of TLC. Please prewash and preshrink washable clothing prior to fittings. Pre-dry cleaning is not necessary, but all clothing to be worked on should be clean.

Ranges of Prices- Every alteration is priced individually but these are prices to give you an idea of where we begin.

• Jean Hems:  $22 with blue thread, $26 with gold thread, $40 Remove and replace      original hem

• Blind Hem Pant  guaranteed hand stitching creates an invisible hem, is secure $28

• Dress and skirt hems between $30-$50/ yard of hem

• Bridal and bridal parties: Generally we pin fit your gown at your first appointment there is a $40 charge for this, hold yourgown for up to 4 days to evaluate the work and time to be done, call you with an estimate range and wait for approval to do the work. If you don't choose to have us do the work wewill leave the pins in the gown and you can pick it up at your convenience. If you choose for us to do the work the $40 fee is applied to the work to be done.

During Bridal season (Apr.1-Sept.30) we need a two week turn around period. If you need your garment earlier,  we charge a rush fee of 20%.

Shoes, Jewlery worn with item, all under garments, and any other items you will use with your garment (jacket, skirt, belts, shirts) to see the total look you want to achieve.
