Commercial Sewn Product Designer Services:

You are about to enter a professional relationship with your “fashion house” as our team develops a unique piece of artwork or product for your company. We will consider and help you define every aspect of your design concept.

This is the first stage of "draping" the item or dress form.This is a prototype of a helmet cover to be made in leather eventually.

Questions for you to consider:

What is your market? What is your concept and theme?  Are you just starting out or are already creating your clothing line? Do you need basic spec measurements, patterns, samples or refining and adding to a pattern line you already have?

What we can offer the designer:

• We start with an initial consultaion 1/2 hr free. Our regular commercial rate is $85/hr. We can consult and help you at each phase of your product.
• Each design, style silhouette and fabric have distinct technical requirements. Our experience will help us anticipate problems that may occur in production of your line, fabric applications and technical aspects of your items.
• We offer computer or hand drafted patterns, muslin samples for a quick fit check and then final samples done in your fashion fabric sample cuts. We have sergers, coverstitch and computerized sewing machines to offer a professional sample for market shows.
• After we finalize the sample and pattern we will send this onto a CAD industry pattern maker for you to have the pattern finalized for production.
• For commercial work it often takes several samples before we get the look, feel and flow that is required.  Since all items are unique we estimate the time it will take for each piece. Fitting and consultation times are included in the calculation since they are essential to the production of something that is unique and will require a great fit on your fit model or specs. We will honor your market dates and will fit your order into our schedule. We work you into our custom sewing and alterations production schedule but often prototypes can take up to three months to finalize. Plan ahead for your best presentation into this industry.

We will work diligently to help you create great pieces for your line and help them get to the next production level at a local Cut-Sew factory we will be able to recommend to you. We sign a non-compete non-disclosure agreement and keep all information in confidence until you have launched and then we will help link and refer clients to you when ever we can.
